Computer Explorers Join FoundationMarch 2008 - Computer Explorers is the latest vendor to announce a partnership with the Texas Community Education Foundation, according to Phil Houseal, President of the Foundation. Computer Explorers is a cutting edge technology education system for children ages three and older. Kathy Patterson, Director, looks forward to collaborating with community educators across the state. "We look at this partnership as a win-win situation," Patterson said. "Texas community education can expand the quality programs they offer to schools, while Computer Explorers can expand and reach more families with our educational programs." Computer Explorers programs are designed to be portable, flexible, affordable and educationally engaging. Teachers are certified and understand how children learn. For example, Computer Tots encourages students to accept challenges and to work collaboratively with their peers. TechStars simplifies educational technology while allowing students to learn together in small groups as they experiment with robots, digital microscopes, movie making and photography, elementary engineering, and more. There are many other solutions for after-school and summer camp formats. Computer Explorers will present more information at the TCEA Conference in April. Computer Explorers has representatives in all parts of Texas.
